Who's In The Mood For Winter??????
Are you looking for something to do during the Christmas season? An activity for for the entire family? While staying warm? Well have you been to the “Symphony of Lights” ? Conveniently located in Columbia Maryland. Symphony of Lights is a very beautiful yet visual way to get into the holiday spirit! Especially if you have little ones! Take a cruise down Candy Cane Lane….lol! Watch your children’s eyes light up as they gaze over the beautiful artistry of lights at night!
Symphony of Lights is set up in historic Merriweather Post Pavilion, and is made up of more than 300,000 bulbs! Not only stationary figures, but also includes larger than life animated creations as well! This year has an even more special treat! They’ve added even more lights and a 150 foot screen! Me and my family have been coming here for the past couple of years as a family, for a winter fun tradition! The best part about this activity is that you don’t even have to leave your car! That’s right you can just drive through and view all the sights, while in the comfort and warmth of your own car! Not to mention tickets only cost $20. That’s right only $20 per vehicle no matter how many passengers per vehicle! You can’t beat that! Don’t want to drive? Want to walk the trail? That’s an option as well! There are select evenings where you can walk the trail instead of drive. Those tickets only cost $10 per person, and of course any children 3 years old and under are FREE! Did I mention that you can even bring your dog? Yup that’s right!
Dog owners are welcome to bring their pet along to walk the trail as well! Fun for the entire family! Tickets are on sale between now through January 1st ! So grab your tickets, and yourself some hot chocolate, enjoy a beautiful evening of holiday cheer, and bright lighting! You will definitely enjoy !
