Miracle on 34th Street

Hey guys are you still looking for some great family fun activities as Christmas approaches? Then you have to make your way to 34th Street! This festive event is located in the Hampden area of Baltimore City! The exact address where this event takes place is 700 West 34th Street! Every house in this neighborhood is lit up and well decorated in different yet unique types of Christmas displays. As soon as the sun sets the lights turn on and the festivities begin!

Me and my family have been enjoying this tradition for the past couple of years! Remember this event is completely outdoors! So dress warm, and bundle up! You’ll see the most creative, and decorative houses all on this one block. No need to worry about moving traffic. This entire street in particularly is blocked off! Of course so that you can view the houses at your leisure without the interruption of constant traffic.

Now because I’m a honest blogger there are a few things that I don’t like. First it’s the parking. Finding a parking spot can be such a headache. Between limited parking spaces and the crowds, it can be frustrating! You may be driving around in circles trying to find a good parking space in walking distance! Unless you decide to pay for parking. The other thing would be the fact of the crowds. We are post pandemic so I know people such as myself don’t enjoy the biggest of crowds. My advice would be to stick with your family, stay bundled up, and of course wear a mask. Even if you are outdoors! Last but not least, make sure to empty your bladder before sight seeing! There are no portable toilets. Unless you plan on visiting a close by restaurant, store, or bar! There are no restrooms! Me being a proactive parent, I make sure that my children use the bathroom before we leave home!
