My Famous Lamb Herb Sauce

My Famous Lamb Herb Sauce

Hey guys long time, no blog…lol… I am so excited to share my “Famous Lamb Herb Sauce” with you guys! This year for Mother’s Day I wanted to out do myself from last year’s dinner! I wanted to cook something simple yet upscale. Tasty but not as time consuming! I came up with the perfect solution. I decided for the main entrée that I would cook lamb lollipops, and create my specialty sauce to add as the perfect garnish. What I like about this sauce is that it’s made with fresh herbs, and pairs well with a variety of grilled meats. Everyone at the Mother’s Day dinner was obsessed with this sauce! It was to the point where we all were licking the plate! Check out this easy recipe, let me know what you think!

My Famous Lamb Herb Sauce

3 cloves garlic, chopped

1 medium shallot, chopped

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/2 cup packed fresh parsley

1/2 cup packed fresh basil

1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

EQUIPMENT

Measuring Cups and Spoons

Chef’s Knife

Cutting Board

Small Mixing Bowl

Food Processor or Blender

  1. Combine parsley, basil, and cilantro in food processor.

  2. Pulse until chopped finely.

  3. Turn off food processor and add in garlic, shallots, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, and dry seasonings.

  4. Pulse again until combined.

  5. Turn off food processor and pour sauce into a bowl for storage and set aside until ready to garnish. (Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container and use within 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.)

Personally I like to heat the sauce in a skillet then drizzle over top of my lamb lollipops as they’re coming out of the oven while hot! I hope you guys enjoy this recipe it’s a real crowd pleaser! Remember this sauce pairs well with a variety of meats! Happy Cooking!
