Ok, ok guys I’m back with another amazing place for you guys to visit in the DMV! You guys have to check out Dirty Habit, located in the heart of downtown D.C. ! Dirty Habit is a restaurant that opened up a few years ago in 2016! It’s apart of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco! This is one of my favorite restaurants that I have visited so far over the summer! I enjoyed it so much I went 3 times, twice in 1 week! I absolutely loved everything about this place! The staff was super polite and attentive! This place gave me a sense of a conservative club scene, of course with the option of spacious dining! When I say spacious, I mean SPACIOUS! This place is great for small intimate parties, and large groups!

Dirty Habit has the luxury of dining indoor and outdoor! Not to mention the multiple bars that they have available! Last time I counted, I think there’s a total of four bars! Two inside, and two outside along with tons of seating! This is the perfect location to host weddings, birthday parties, even a girl’s night out. The first time I went I was alone, just wanted to experience the restaurant for myself! The second and third time I went, I brought my spouse! Just a few weeks ago, I celebrated my birthday there with my sister! It’s truly one of my favorite places to visit often! I would not recommend this place for a family setting with small children. It just isn’t that type of an establishment in my opinion. So far the vibe is non-comparable to the places I’ve been lately.

Before I forget, let me tell you guys about the food. The food selections are amazing! I enjoyed everything that I had! I immediately went straight into an entrée choice every time I went . I had their famous District Chicken, and I’ve had their Atlantic Salmon. The District Chicken is truffle stuffed, garnished with chips of fried chicken skin, served on a bed of black rice with mixed vegetables. It also has a rich sauce poured throughout the entire entrée. The chicken is so rich in flavor and tender! I literally scraped my plate! Now the salmon on the other hand was just as delicious! The salmon was served with this amazing sauce on top! Sweet yet savory! Along side of the salmon was fried potatoes, garnished with fresh vegetables and hollandaise sauce! For dessert both visits I enjoyed their decadent Golden Habit! The Golden Habit is their famous oh so rich Chocolate Molten Lava Cake, served with lavender sorbet. This cake is so rich, and moist it’s unbelievable! I would drive there just for dessert! YES IT’S THAT SERIOUS!

I know what you’re thinking……is there anything you don’t like about the place? It can’t be that perfect! Well there are two things I should mention. The parking arrangements aren’t the best! There is no street parking, so you must park in a garage. Luckily there are a few close in range of the restaurant. Also I wasn’t fond of the bathroom arrangements. Remember Dirty Habit is apart of the Kimpton Hotel Monaco, so they don’t have their own bathrooms. You must travel through the hotel lobby, and take an elevator up to get to the nearest bathroom. If you plan on having a lot of drinks be prepared to do a lot of walking. Other than that this place has great food, great service, and great energy! If you plan on visiting I suggest that you reserve your table online ahead of time, especially if it’s the weekend.
