Sip A Sweet Treat!!!!!!
Guess who took a trip? That’s right you guessed correct! I did! I had the luxury of experiencing SIN CITY! Yup, Las Vegas Nevada! My trip was quite interesting, however that’s a blog for another day! I visited a few unique places and had some amazing experiences!
However one that I gravitated to the most was “I Love Sugar”. I Love Sugar is a popular candy store and candy bar! It’s located at “The Linq Hotel Resort”. If you have a huge sweet tooth this is the place to be! There’s two levels. The lower level is a complete candy store! Any candy you can think of they have! Different varieties of candy included but not limited to gummies, cotton candy, lollipops, jelly beans and so much more!
The upper level is where it gets exciting! Upstairs is where all the chocolate candies are, also this upper level leads to the entrance to the martini bar! Please keep in mind that this is not your average bar! They only serve candy themed cocktails! ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD! NO APPETIZERS, NO DESSERTS, ALL ALCOHOL! The closest thing you’ll get to dessert is “Drunken Bears”! Drunken bears are gummy bears soaked in alcohol!
This bar specializes in giving you the sugar rush of your life1 They have plenty of cocktails to choose from! However this place is popular for their giant candy martinis! These martinis cost $45 each, and are likely shared between two or more people! Each giant martini is customized by flavor and of course candy! Not to mention they contain eight full shots of liquor! Sheesh! Talk about a hang over!
I strongly advise you to order a complimentary glass of water to drink in between! Especially if you are not a drinker! Now for those that don’t want the iconic giant martini, they do have a normal size martini menu as well! The regular sized martinis are $20 each! So if you order two, you might as well get the giant martini! It’s up to you though! I must admit it’s hard to choose!
Me and my husband decided on the “Watermelon Sugar” martini. It’s exactly what it sounds like! It’s a strong yet, sweet watermelon flavor! Of course it’s topped with watermelon flavored gummies! The best part is the finale of the drink being made, which is the overflow of the fog from the dry ice! It pools throughout the drink for at least 10-15 minutes! It’s definitely a crowd pleaser! Very Instagram worthy! So pull out those phones and press record!
Overall I Love Sugar was a very chill environment, had great service, and it’s very vibrant with color! I highly recommend visiting this place if you ever decide to visit Las Vegas! Cheers!
