"It's A Barbie Summer"
Hello, Hello, Hello! I hope you guys are enjoying this beautiful summer! I know I am! I couldn’t wait to bring you guys this exciting news! If you haven’t noticed it is a Barbie Summer! No, matter of fact it’s Barbiemania! You have to be living under a rock to not see it all around you! As we all know the official “Barbie” movie premiered on July 21st this summer in theaters everywhere! Not only that but since it’s premiere Mattel has collaborated with well over 100 brands in preparation for the release of the movie.
With that being said I couldn’t wait to visit the “Malibu Barbie Cafe”. There are only two temporary pop-up locations. One is located in New York while the other is located in Chicago. As soon as I heard about it I just had to book my reservation! (Reservations can be made through Bucket Listers.) It was more than an experience! I had the luxury of visiting the New York location! As soon as you arrive on the premises it’s complete nostalgia! I mean just seeing all the bright colors really pulls you in! I felt like a little girl all over again! It’s totally worth the reservation!
I really enjoyed everything about this experience, especially the effort that went into place for photo ops! It’s very Instagram friendly. There are literally selfie stations everywhere! There are a variety of different backgrounds, and photo props available to utilize for your personal wants! I was excited to see that they had an upstairs and downstairs dining area along with bar seating! Speaking of variety they also have a great menu selection to choose from! They have an adult menu and kids menu! I tried the “Beachside Breakfast Burrito”, and the “Pacific Paradise Pancakes” along with a mixed green salad! Of course I couldn’t eat all of it, because it was a lot! (I ended up taking a to go box.) Also I tried two cocktails as well! I tried the “Beach Mojito” and the “219 Cosmo”. Both drinks were potent and sweet! No worries if you’re not a drinker they provide mocktails as well!
Overall this immersive experience is for all ages! Adults and children are welcomed! I highly suggest that you make a reservation ahead of time due to high visitation volume! Walk ins are most likely not welcomed! Don’t forget to grab yourself some souvenirs on the way out. To make a purchase consult with your host/hostess! Of course take plenty of pictures, and videos because this will truly be an experience to remember! Also keep in mind this is a pop-up event, so this will only be available for a limited time! Let me know what you think of my review! DON’T FORGET TO LIKE, SHARE, AND COMMENT! I ALSO WELCOME QUESTIONS! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE ACUTAL FOOTAGE FEEL FREE TO FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM!
